The 3 New Features of Twitter Blue

On June 3, 2021, Twitter announced that it would be releasing a new premium service called 'Twitter Blue.' It was developed from the feedback of the social media company's power users. In a blog post, they stated that they really took the feedback to heart and are working hard on developing a solution that will give their users what the people are looking for, "access to exclusive features and perks that will take their experience on Twitter to the next level." If you're one of the users that have been speculating about this for nearly a year now, I bring you good news! Though the free version of the social media app will never go away, according to Twitter, they are going to add 3 new features in Twitter Blue.

1. Bookmark Folders This will let users organize their bookmarks, or tweets that they saved, for an easier and more efficient way of managing them.

2. Undo Tweet Option A customizable timer of up to 30 seconds can be set by users, giving them time to click an 'undo' button if they find faults in their tweet or simply, change their mind. While the timer is ongoing, the tweet will only be seen by the user.

3. Reader Mode According to the company, this was made in order to get rid of the noise and as such, provide a more wonderful reading experience. The new feature would transform long threads into easy-to-read text.

A sneak peek to the new 'Twitter Blue.'The new subscription service will be available to users in Canada for a monthly rate of $3.49 and $4.49 for Australia. The company said that it will also come to U.S.A. later this year. I can't wait for this feature to be available globally! What about you?
