WhatsApp's disappearing messages come to iOS



According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp's iOS Beta "disappearing messages" finally arrived which was introduced first on Android. This newest feature makes messages disappear once it was read.


The current "disappearing message" initiative will automatically delete messages 7 days after the user have read messages. However, if anyone would want to shorten the duration of this feature, this option isn't possible.


WhatsApp warns users that other people can take a screenshot or screen record in chat contents yet assuming they won't the latest beta feature can be helpful in protecting WhatsApp users, providing a more private way of sending sensitive messages.


If you signed up to take part in the iOS WhatApp beta, you should be checking out this feature! And for those that aren't part of the TestFlight, let's wait patiently for its official release since they haven't announced the date for it yet.
