Whatsapp Is Experimenting With A New Voice Call Interface

Following various upgrades to WhatsApp calls, Meta-owned WhatsApp is now said to be working on a new voice call interface. According to WABetaInfo, a screenshot reveals that WhatsApp is changing its interface in preparation for a future upgrade to make it more compact and modern while also reorganizing the available space. The new design will be appealing, particularly while making group voice calls.

According to the article, "even if the screenshot was taken on WhatsApp for iOS, WhatsApp is preparing the same redesign for a future version of WhatsApp beta for Android as well."

WhatsApp just introduced a new feature called "Voice Message Preview" for Indian users. Users will soon be able to preview their audio messages on WhatsApp before sending them, according to the business. Meanwhile, the firm recently implemented a new privacy feature that prevents unknown contacts from viewing a user's last seen and online status.

WhatsApp users will be able to select their "last seen" status to be visible to everyone, including their contacts, except a blacklist of certain people. This new capability is rumored to be available on both Android and iOS devices.
