TikTok Releases New Insights on TikTok Clips Influence in the Purchase Process

TikTok has released a new report that sheds new light on the importance of its platform in the ever-changing shopping experience, as well as how TikTok videos can revolutionize the way companies and customers connect.


As per TikTok:


“By listening to the TikTok community, we meet users where they want to be met, and it's not in the funnel. Rather, it is an infinite loop with no start or end point, and it empowers brands to establish more meaningful relationships with consumers that result in communities of brand loyalists, repeat purchases, and greater spending.”


Material was commissioned by TikTok to perform new research on TikTok users to learn more about how they use TikTok clips to shop and advertise.


Here are some of their most important observations:

  • When it comes to discovering new things, 49% of TikTok users feel it is an excellent place to start with.

  • Brands' videos are used by 44% of people to find products.

  • In a post, one out of every four people has tagged a brand.
