TikTok Introduces A New Interactive Market Insights Tool

TikTok has released a new interactive insights platform which could be helpful in your TikTok marketing efforts since it allows you to find critical data points on your target market/s using a variety of filters.


The new site, which can be found here, has several filters to help you narrow down your target demographic such as geography, demographics, industry verticals, date, and so on, and learn more about specific topics. For instance, if you wanted to know what the major trends were among TikTok users in the United States around the holidays, you'd get data highlights like this:


The data may be useful in guiding your strategic approach and informing your decisions. The one disadvantage right now is that TikTok's insights database doesn't appear to be particularly large, so many of the same data points appear in multiple categories, which means they may not be as specific as you'd like.


However, the data given is relevant to each aspect and gives a better understanding of what's going on in the program.


With TikTok now being the most popular app, with 1.5 billion users expected by 2022, many marketers are seeking new ways to tap into trendy topics and establish a presence using TikTok clips.
