Snapchat’s New ‘Campaign Lab’

With the massive increase in social media usage, marketers have been looking for ways to create unique and interesting campaigns in order to take advantage of the rise in interest. In line with this, Snapchat is encouraging brands to market on the platform and is looking to provide guidance through the introduction of the new ‘Campaign Lab.’ This new tool can be found within the Snap Ads Manager, and will allow marketers to run split tests, view full results, and get recommendations on what they should do with their campaign to maximize performance.

As can be seen in the example above, the Campaign Lab gives marketers an overview of all the platform’s split testing tools, and allows users to easily access and utilize the wide array of tools.

According to Snapchat:

"[Campaign Lab] includes actions, insights, and learning agendas to help you understand where to start your tests, form hypotheses, identify what’s working, and take action accordingly to inform your campaign strategy."

Users will be able to access the Campaign Lab through the Snapchat ads Manager navigation menu. By opening the ‘Analyze’ section of the said menu, users will then be taken to the main screen of the Campaign Lab, as pictured above. Aside from a number of split testing tools, the Campaign Lab’s main window will also give users a number of recommendations on what direction they should take their campaigns in.

Within the Results listings of the Campaign lab, users will be presented with in-depth data on each performed test, which will allow for a better analysis and refinement of focus.

Moreover, the presented data will also be used to provide users with recommendations that will allow them to understand and choose the best possible approaches to their campaign.

The Campaign Lab is sure to be handy for those looking to spark creative thinking and find a unique approach to their campaign. In fact, this tool is probably extremely helpful for Snapchat marketers and advertisers, as creativity and uniqueness are key to grabbing an in-platform attention.

While it is true that creativity is important on virtually any platform, Snapchat has a specific focus on creating and connecting friends, meaning that your ads need to blend in and be as organic as possible.

As the Campaign lab is now available, try checking it out to further your knowledge and level up your Snap Ads game.
