LinkedIn Introduces New Content Marketing Development Course

Aiming to improve your digital marketing content skills? This new release from LinkedIn might be of interest to you.

LinkedIn has recently introduced a new LinkedIn Marketing Labs certification course on "Content and Creative Design," which is now open to all LinkedIn members for free.

The course is divided into three modules, each of which focuses on one of LinkedIn's tools to assist users to learn more about content and marketing foundations and build their capabilities.

According to LinkedIn:

“This new certification is critical because it comes at a time when we see an industry-wide interest in the topic of content strategy and creative design. In fact, as HubSpot’s State of Marketing 2022 Report found, content is continuing its sharp rise in importance even compared to last year, with 66% of marketers expecting to allocate more of their budgets toward it in 2022 and 47% of B2B buyers viewing three to five pieces of content before engaging with a sales rep.”

Certainly, the ability to generate compelling, enticing material is critical to maximizing your prospects in digital marketing, particularly on LinkedIn - and if you're searching for methods to improve your talents, this new LinkedIn course might be worth a look.

Depending on your level of understanding, the full certification takes a few hours to complete. When you finish the course and exam, you'll receive a digital certificate that you can upload to your LinkedIn profile or print if you prefer.

It's clearly geared toward LinkedIn users, and it doesn't address every facet of content planning and development. But it's a good summary of the essentials that could help you get your strategy on track - especially if you're just getting started and need some guidance.

It's also free, so the price is reasonable. It might be worth checking out if you have some free time.

All LinkedIn users have access to the Marketing Labs courses, which are offered in five languages: English, German, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. More information on the courses can be found here.
