LinkedIn Introduces Certification Courses to Help You Demonstrate Your LinkedIn Marketing Expertise

Meerelle Cruz

LinkedIn has launched two new, free LinkedIn marketing certification courses that will allow you to learn more about LinkedIn's ad tools and options while also earning an official certification that you can display on your LinkedIn profile.

It's not the most impressive certificate, and it's unlikely that most people will laminate or frame the PDF (which you may download). However, it does give you another opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of LinkedIn's ad features, which could help you get a leg up on your professional rivals.

As previously stated, LinkedIn offers two certifications to demonstrate your platform knowledge:

  • Basic Certification: Demonstrates knowledge of how to launch LinkedIn Ad campaigns and approaches. You can conduct successful LinkedIn Ad campaigns that produce business results with this certification.

  • Certification in Marketing Strategy (Intermediate): Demonstrates knowledge of how to use LinkedIn Ads for full-funnel strategies, such as Brand Awareness and Lead Generation. Once certified, you'll be able to design marketing campaigns that take advantage of the entire LinkedIn marketing toolkit.

Learning about LinkedIn's ad products via a variety of courses offered on the LinkedIn Certifications page is the first step towards achieving your certification. You can take the applicable certification test after you've gone through each lesson - or if you're convinced you to know all the main facts - in which you'll have 60 minutes to answer 60 multiple choice questions about LinkedIn's ad tools and processes.

The test can be taken up to three times, and the certification is valid for two years. While you do have 60 minutes, if you know what you're doing, you'll be able to complete it in much less time. If you pass the test, you may add the certification to your LinkedIn profile, which will highlight your expertise in LinkedIn ads to visitors.

he test questions themselves, at least in the 'Fundamentals' test, are a bit of a mixed bag, with some pointing to the proper answer among the possibilities and others needing a fair level of LinkedIn ad system expertise. However, the procedure is free, and you have three chances to pass - and even if you don't pass the final test, you'll learn a lot about how LinkedIn advertisements function and how to create your on-platform campaigns.

As previously stated, with eCommerce and digital marketing becoming more of a focus in recent months, it may be worthwhile to brush up on your abilities and obtain official accreditation to maximize your future chances. You can also perform it merely to see if you truly know as much about LinkedIn marketing as you believe.
