With the increased interest in online business and marketing, Instagram is one of the many platforms looking to help brands and marketers improve their campaigns and post ideas. Instagram in particular is hoping to spark creative thinking and consideration by highlighting a few amazing examples of organic and promoted posts in the app.
The new element has just been added to Instagram’s Professional Dashboard, which was just launched back in January. The Dashboard is accessible to those with Business and Creator accounts.
If you are looking to access the Professional Dashboard, it can now be found at the top of your profile. However, wherever you open the dashboard, you will now be able to see a new ‘See How Other Businesses Connect with People’ tab within the ‘Stay Informed’ section.
When users click the tile pictured above, they will be able to access a range of example brand posts and ads, hopefully allowing them to strike a goldmine of creativity and come up with their own original and creative campaigns.
Once users select one of the many available samples, they will be able to scroll down even lower to see more. Moreover, Instagram has included ‘Create Post’ and ‘Create Ad’ CTAs in between the different displayed posts, prompting you to start the creation of your own original ad campaign.
The new feature could be a good way for brands to come up with new ideas and campaigns. Especially considering the face that Instagram is prompting its marketers to:
"Take note of what makes this post stand out. What catches your eye? What makes you want to learn more? How does the post capture the business’ voice and vision? Think about how you can incorporate these aspects into your business’ content."
Real examples often make it easier to understand what works and gain a wider grasp on what the audience likes to see. Having a collection of posts selected by Instagram to use as reference could definitely be a big help to marketers looking to create their own brand and realize their own visions.
