Facebook Releases New Info Sessions for Female Business Leaders

In celebration of Women's Small Business Month, Facebook has introduced a new series of virtual training sessions for female business owners, which provide ideas and insights to help female entrepreneurs succeed in the post-COVID market.

According to Facebook:

“According to our recent Global State of Small Business Report, women-owned businesses face closure rates of 18% in the US compared to their male counterparts at 13%. But despite the obstacles, the resilience and tenacity of women-owned businesses remains high - which is why we want to take time to celebrate them during National Women’s Small Business Month.”

The video sessions, which were produced in collaboration with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Intuit Quickbooks, are intended to provide "inspiration, education, and insight from women-led small businesses that have persevered and led with confidence over the last 18 months."

The videos, which can be seen here, last about 10 minutes and contain lectures on effective financial management, business leadership, and tips and tricks on how to use digital marketing tools to boost sales in the run-up to the holidays.

There are some useful thoughts and insights here, especially for those looking for inspiration on key aspects (the 20-minute ‘Leading with Confidence' session, for example).

It could be worthwhile to tune in and get some last-minute advice before the holiday season.
