Facebook Announces Advertising Week Marketing Insights Sessions

Next week is Advertising Week in New York, and Facebook will also be participating there, with a variety of sessions covering various areas of digital marketing, which you can watch on Facebook's dedicated Advertising Week mini-site.

As seen here, Facebook's Advertising Week sessions will be streamed live on the site, and there are some intriguing talks scheduled that are well worth watching.

These are some of them:

  • Exploring the New Frontiers of Creativity: Every day, the future of connection is being redefined — individuals are connecting in new and imaginative ways with each other, with businesses, and with culture. Nicky Bell, Vice President and Global Head of Creative Shop at Facebook, will discuss how people-centered creativity is influencing the future of marketing.

  • The Future of Shopping: By harnessing the latest technologies, businesses can improve the experience of today's shoppers. Salima Popatia, Senior Vice President of Global Online Customer Acquisition & Retention at The Estée Lauder Companies, will speak with Gene Alston, Facebook's Vice President of Commerce, about how they've traversed this new frontier from Live Shopping to product drops.

  • The Critical Role of Creators in Advertising: The increasing democratization of creativity and attention is changing the way tastemakers are created and influence is earned. Alvin Bowles, Facebook's Vice President of Business Ecosystem Partnerships, will discuss the creator ecosystem with Dara Treseder, Peloton's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

More innovative techniques, live shopping, and influencer marketing are all major developments that have the ability to impact your strategy, in line with the greater shift toward eCommerce and the changing ways that social networks are used.

Each session will include internal Facebook insights and notes, and they could be a wonderful method to learn more about the current trends and usage shifts to broaden your perspective.

For Advertising Week, Facebook will host a total of seven sessions; further information on each event can be found here.
