6 Celebrities Share Their Take in the New TikTok Viral Trend "That's Not My Name”
In a new TikTok viral trend, celebrities are reliving their great movie performances while using The Ting Tings' 2008 smash song "That's Not My Name” as their background. Celebrities appear in each video with the tagline "This is my real name — but they call me...", accompanied by a compilation of their most iconic movie roles, with the challenge now having about 900,000 videos participating.
TikTok, the most downloaded app of the year in 2021, also claimed that it now has 1 billion monthly users, including celebrities.

Drew Barrymore
Barrymore featured her roles from 50 First Dates, Charlie's Angels, The Wedding Singer, and other famous films she starred in during her career. Many fans have expressed their admiration for Barrymore's filmography, with over 4 million likes and 52,000 comments thus far.
Alicia Silverstone
The actress showed her performance in an Aerosmith music video, her motherly roles, cartoon characters, and more along with her notable film roles. The viral clip has received over 130,000 likes and 1200 comments since it was published on January 19th.

Idina Menzel
Presenting her popular characters, Menzel's Elsa from Frozen, Maureen from Rent, and Elphaba from Wicked, have now reached over a million likes. She included the scene when John Travolta incorrectly pronounced her name at the 2015 Academy Awards, which had led to a hilarious conclusion. Fans reacted quickly to the clip, with @Us The Duo commenting, "The last clip.... You 100% win this trend!!"

Jessica Alba
Alba's video, which has received 800,000 likes, was praised by fans as she revealed her take on the viral challenge. She featured her well-known characters from the Fantastic Four, Honey, and Sin City films. She then asked her followers which of her characters should make a reappearance, in which one of them expressed their wish for her character's return in TV series L.A.'s Finest, which was cancelled after two seasons.

Elizabeth Banks, an actress, producer, and director, also gave her take on the trend, which received over 910,000 likes. She featured characters from films such as The Hunger Games, Charlie's Angels: The New Generation, and Pitch Perfect.

Jennifer Gardner
Gardner showed her 1.6 million Tiktok followers in the new viral video, "That's Not My Name" her notable roles in 13 Going on 30, Elektra, and Juno. Gardner also featured a commercial for Capital One in which she posed as the "What's in Your Wallet?" lady. Her post received almost 1.7 million likes since then.
Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon, and Zooey Deschanel are also among the celebrities that participated in the viral "That's Not My Name" challenge.
