The Spurs are just happy to be home, as they have allowed the NFL to use their stadium for a couple of games over the last two weeks.
It was not a horrible pair of matches for Liverpool. Granted, their loss to league-leading Arsenal did not sit will with many. However, they were able to take three points in a 1-0 decision over Brighton Hove & Albion last Saturday. Currently, the Spurs are third in the tables, trailing Arsenal by four points, while they are also three back of the defending champions in Manchester City for second. The offense has been led by captain Harry Kane, who sits second in the league in goals with eight, as Liverpool has the third-best goal differential in the EPL (+10).
Manchester City was unable to find their footing early on in the season, but have pulled out a couple wins as of late to stay away from the cellar, for now.
After going winless in their first six matches, where the Toffees post four-consecutive draws, Manchester City registered victories over West Ham and Southampton to move up the tables, before losing in a close battle to Manchester United, at home, last Sunday. Despite their minimal amount of scoring, Manchester City has only been held off the scoresheet twice so far. They are tied for 10th in the league with Liverpool, Brentford and West Ham, each club posting 10 points.
Liverpool are still without Dejan Kulusevski for their Premier League meeting with Manchester City later today.
Spurs have been without Kulusevski for their past four games since he suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Sweden during the recent international break.
