Liverpool vs Man City LIVE early team news, line-ups and latest updates from Anfield
Manchester City travel to Anfield to take on rivals Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
Manchester City face old foes Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Though Jurgen Klopp's side had a galvanising result midweek as they stuck seven past Rangers, they've had a difficult start to the season with just two league wins to their name so far and are down in 11th place.
Three points at Anfield would certainly go a long way in helping to reclaim their crown, then, as a win would see the Blues move 16 points clear of the Merseyside outfit.
Both teams go into the game far from full strength, Liverpool especially. The hosts will be without seven players as Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Curtis Jones, Naby Keita, Arthur and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all sidelined.
City do have three injuries of their own, though, with England trio Kyle Walker, Kalvin Phillips and John Stones unavailable.
Liverpool take on Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon and you can follow every kick right here. Action gets underway at 4.30pm at Anfield.
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK - and we will be providing confirmed team news, live commentary stream updates and all the best post-match analysis in our blog.
Paul Gorst, Ian Doyle and Theo Squires will be in the press box to cover the clash. The Reds are currently on just 10 points after eight top flight games, and will be hoping to bridge the gap to City.
Liverpool have several stars ruled out for today, with Ibrahima Konate another potential absentee as he faces a late fitness battle. Get involved and send your thoughts on Twitter to @LivEchoLFC.
